Micro-credential course
Putting Students
at the Center of Learning
If you believe wholeheartedly that the best way for human beings to learn is to sit silently in rows, listening to someone lecture and to only speak after raising their hands, then this course is not for you. If, however, you recognize this description from your own experience or perhaps because it's a comfortable default for you and you know there's another way, then you've come to the right place.
If you are already using some student-centered instructional strategies, then this course will hopefully provide some additional ideas you can use to make learning more engaging and fun for your students. This micro-credential course provides practical strategies (six of them in fact) that you can use in your classroom to put students at the center of learning. After all, if they're going to learn then they have to do the work. There are no shortcuts, just learning strategies that help students construct knowledge in meaningful, interactive ways.
